The focus is on giving you the skills to play all the naturally occuring chords and notes for any given key. As with all rSoGuitar modules, the focus and advantage comes from learning to navigate with a relativistic approach to chords and soloing, allowing one to navigate the entire fret board with chords and melody without the need for knowing note names as a traditional student would. However, once this module is mastered, this approach actually makes learning the traditional way much easier and more meaningful, if the student wishes to make that connection. In this rSoGuitar module we explore how to use the fundamentals from the first module to build progressions. This module provides the student with a handful of great example progressions and an in-depth discussion on understanding and learning to exploit the natural tendencies of the ear to make progressions that have structure, movement and just really work to create a reliable platform for soloists/vocalists to work over. The example progressions found in this module can also serve as a good place for a beginning student to practice soloing over, as well as to use when jamming, playing chords in support of another soloist or vocalist. Upon mastering the information in this module, students will have the skills to create their own progressions and the concepts they will walk away with are and always will be important for creating progressions, from simple to advanced.

In this rSoGuitar module we explore arpeggios. The focus is on how to understand how the intervals found in each of the naturally occuring chords to create landmarks that allow us to see the variety of repeating forms for a chord all across the neck. From understanding intervals, the full palette of chord forms, chord inversions, tapping, sweeping, to what's really important when it comes to phrasing powerfully over chords, the concepts in this chapter are absolutely essential.
